    Eden Tremorfa Celebration - Message Wales

    On the 24th February we're holding an event to celebrate 2 years of Eden Tremorfa , 7-9pm at Belmont Tremorfa Family Church (CF24 2QL). It promises to be a great night as we do a mixture of looking back and looking forward.

     

    It will be an evening of Worship, Testimonies, Vision & Inspiration, Prayer and Information about how people can support Eden Tremorfa going forward!

    Freedom in Christ Information Evening

    Freedom in Christ – A Strategy for Transforming Discipleship

    A free, 2-hour event for Christian Leaders and for anyone responsible for discipleship in their church or group will be held at St Paul's Church, 9 Bridge Street, Newport, NP20 4AL on Tuesday 27th February at 7.30pm. Refreshments will be available on arrival. The event offers an excellent opportunity to explore the Freedom In Christ approach to discipleship.

     

    UK Director Rob Davies and other FIC team members will be there to introduce the new Freedom in Christ course, to explain the transformational approach at the heart of it, and to evaluate with you how the approach could work in your Church – one size doesn’t fit all.

    Please come and have a great night out and support our ‘quiz for a cause’ so that we can raise much needed funds for Cardiff Foodbank.

    Cardiff Foodbank is seeking to raise funds to help towards warehouse costs, so that we can sort and store the food donated by the general public, safely and securely. Last year we had over 132 tonnes of food donated and our warehouse costs amounted to over £25000.

    Cardiff Foodbank provides short-term help to people in food crisis across the city, by providing emergency food parcels, a safe place to chat and access to information for further support.

    They provided food for over 14500 individuals in Cardiff last year who found themselves in crisis due to benefit delays, low income, relationship breakdown, redundancy, sickness, bereavement, mental health issues, debt and for many other reasons.

    We introduce you to the what, why and how of Bible translation: What exactly is it? Why is it so essential? And how is God using translated Scriptures around the world?

    Discover the enormous variety of skills and expertise it takes for a people group to gain access to the Bible - you don’t need to be a translation expert to join the team. Discover what happens when people engage with the message of Jesus in their language for the first time!

    Take your First Steps and discover the world of Bible translation and how you could be involved in getting the Bible to the 1.5 billion people still waiting.
